Is this the wrong place to figure that out? Someone do it with me.

Hi! There are a couple things you can do.

The way you think of yourself is a self-fulfilling prophecy, so why not use that trick to your advantage by talking in a good way about yourself? You can say it out loud or in your mind every time you look in the mirror.

Here are some examples.

"I'm the best! I am perfect the way I am. I'm funny and witty. I'm smart and creative. I'm easy going and always bring good vibes into the room. I'm popular. I'm stable, reliable and kind to everyone, no matter what. I don't need other people's validation. I am strong so I lift others up. Every stranger is a friend I just haven't met yet. Friends feel safe around me because I will let no harm come their way. Rejection just adds another lesson learned in my life and opens new doors to a different experience. People who don't hang out with me are seriously missing out on my best qualities."

Add more if you like.

Also what helped me personally a lot is creative writing. Ask yourself what you really wish for, something that would make you happy. What would your life look like if you had it? Write in as much detail as possible. After that, ask yourself: Is your story self happy? What could be improved? What parts of the ideal dream seem to be missing something? Once you have visualized this it's a lot easier to take your mind off of things that may be actually hindering you more than helping.

Good luck!
