Just needing someone to talk to/ need advice
Hello, Goodmorning, Happy Friday :)
I have 1 friend who I talk to sometimes but she barely responds to me, and when she does respond, we only talk for 2 seconds and then I’m left on delivered again until a new day. I miss them alot and be wanting to talk to them all the time because I have no one else to talk with. My other friend, left me on delivered for about 5 months, I really needed someone to talk to and just be there for me, I felt like I was being ignored. That was a tough time for me because I had just got broken up with. I know people are busy out of their phones and have other things to do but if they are active all the time and online? Also I have another friend that I messaged awhile back and she’s been online but hasn’t responded to my message at all. She will then claim that she has been “busy with school”. She texted me that one time and I told her that’s okay I understand, but she hasn’t text me back ever since last month.
Nowadays, for some reason people think having a bunch of messages is a “aesthetic”. It upsets me alot because I be really excited to talk to them but they just ignore me.
I don’t really know what to call them so I just put friend :( associates.
What can I help you with?
@BodhisattvaKuato Mostly just need someone to talk to :(
Not about anything in particular?
@strwberryhearts
I feel you, really.
Many times happened that and then i felt like "oh, they don't care and love me as much I do" and I see my self alone.
I always have to be the 1st person who says hello or blah blah
I hope you will find someone :)
Good luck and l9ve! 💚🍀
It was going to be "love" tho, typo
its more like you should text your friend whatever you want and not caring whether he will reply or not , sometimes people just see messages and ignore cause replying to a hi means a minimum of an hour conversation , you speak your part , when he / she is free , they will reply their part.
@Skansly Yeah I already do that. But when it’s been months or so? No thanks. I don’t care anyways whether they reply or not. It’s just the principle of it. Even if I say hi or not, people know how to keep a conversation going no matter the hours. Like I said, I already know some people be super busy and not be on phone all the time which is understandable but you can tell when someone is straight up ignoring you. That’s the difference.
@strwberryhearts
Yes , we can understand when someone is ignoring us , but its also possible that the people you are messaging have something going in their life and somewhere down the line it will come in the conversation , so maybe its better to ignore , if you wrote hi and your friend saw it , wont you get to know whether he saw it or not , if he/she did not saw it even till now , then its ignoring.

I am so sorry to hear that you are going through a rough patch with your friends.
i can't really give any advise as I am going through the same thing with "friends" of 6 years who have now cut myself, partner and children off completely and have taken the bunch of friends that we had with them (group of school parents who got as friends when children started Year R).
This friendship with one couple in particular was like family they were treated like our sister/brother their child our nieces/nephews.
During August things took a turn for the worse from a conversation that happened in April as my so called "sister" friend took what I said the wrong way but didn't bother to actually talk about it.
So things just started spiralling from that moment but we just brushed it under the carpet as she was going through a separation from her husband at the same time so thought it was just her way of coping.
Tried a number of time to talk/arrange days out and every plan was cancelled with no reason! Enough was enough and everything blew up and at a "family" birthday party and since then we haven't spoken this was nearly 2 months ago and nothing has changed.
I even sent her a message saying that I hate this and that I hate not talking to her anymore to no response.
So in a flash my family went from a close circle of friends (8 people) to nothing.
It doesn't really bother my partner as he is just fed-up with the way we've been treated but I feel like I've lost a part of my soul and feel so heartbroken. The thing that hurts the most is the memes that she puts up on her social page that I know are aimed at myself and partner, which constantly are put up. Trying to ignore them is hard and it hurts like hell that somebody who was "family" would stoop so low as it put things all of their social account.
So for the rant but I get how you are feeling and hope that things can be sorted out between you and your friends.
Here is you need a chat.
@Kullen Hello, I’m so sorry to hear that :( That seems like a very heartbreaking situation to see someone who once was ur family to now treating you like you mean nothing to them. I hope that you guys can talk it out one day and rebuild your friendship. It is very childish of that person throwing shade on their social media account instead of just talking with you to address the problem.
And thank you so much, I appreciate that 🤍

Strawberry :
I can relate text messaging and people not returning to text messages.
My recommendation is to join me in the Share Circle Chat room here on 7cups.com 😊
