I'm a 35 year old mother of 4. A 12 y/o, 8 year old and 14 month old twins and I work full time. For the past year my marriage has gone increasingly down hill. We've reached the point where we barely speak to one another. I sleep on the couch almost every night. We don't hold hands or hug, catch up with one another. There is no laughter. I'm afraid for our future. I'm afraid of being alone and struggling financially if we divorce. I'm so sad that I spend my nights crying alone in the dark on the couch. I am so alone and it's killing me.

I miss my husband. I miss the love. I dread coming home after work to the awkward mess that is now my life. Thank you for listening.

@AtlantaMom I believe there can be restoration for couples. I hope the two of you are able to get the spark back and eventually a full flame *hugs* 🤗

There is nothing too late to fix our life, do something active to take one step ahead. It doesn't matter what is go right on or wrong, if it went wrong way, then move to another way again. If you keep doing the same routine and stuff, nothing will be changed in the future and you anxious is just increasing. You are not alone at least we are supporting you here anytime.

@AtlantaMom

This sounds so much like my marriage. We have been in a downhill slide for so long but like you, we have lots of kids so we are in a place where we have to make it work. Except we can't. We are miles apart now. Couch life is the loneliest place.

I wish I had more answers or a fix. I think kids are a tremendous stressor on even a good marriage. We need to remember that
