Questioning

Hey yall. So I'm struggling right now. So since August of 2021 myself and my kids dad have been separating, on and off, really alot is in the air. I just can't do it anymore. The amount of promises I get just to turn around and do exactly what he said he wouldn't. I'm hurting for my daughters, even my dogs are off.... I know I'm doing the right thing. But why does it have to be so hard??? Any words of wisdom and support are welcome. Thanks for reading...
