Sexual trauma
I was told that by suffering from ptsd of sexual trauma or any kind of trauma was seeking attention. I’m so upset.

that's a terribly awful thing to say to you or anyone that deals with any sort of ptsd sexual trama or Mental health challenge so sorry you had to hear that here
It was not here at all. This place is wonderful! Someone I know. Just can’t believe people think or were taught this way. So sad and very heartbreaking.
Sexual trauma is something that will always be with you. Someone who did not experience it will never understand.. also everyone copes differently. Even someone who has gone through it can be judgemental and not understand
You are so right. This person went through sexual trauma and actually said that we are doing worse than what was done to us by playing the victim. So sad that she was brainwashed because she was actually taught to think this way.
I'm willing to bet any decent person will say the same thing but nobody that goes through any kind of trauma talks about it for attention. I'm sorry they were tactless with you. You deserved better.
