Stuck between whether to leave my job or not
Hey everyone, i am really confused about my job, i have been working for 1 month here and according me i don't see much to learn and there are many others job but as a fresher i don't get much salary, and this job pays me decent amount, should I take the risk and search a new job with Better pay and Better job role ?
@amiwong First thing first, NEVER quit a job unless you have a better option with you.
Learning is always self-driven, you may still learn a lot about other things in your job.
Having a job as of today is a blessing, please don't take it for granted.
Wish you good luck with your everyday job chores and learning the extra mile.
@amiwong Hi :-) I know it can be really worrisome when it feels like the job isn't right. I recently was reminded that I have a learning curve too-- and it's at least 3 months long! Even if you're the best at what you do, sometimes the bad feeling we have about the job is also because we haven't found our place yet in the organization. Having good friends would help a lot, as would knowing your worth.
If you're sure this is not for you, find a way to work on a back-up plan on the side. It can be towards being better at your current job, finding a better job or looking for a side hustle that will tickle your toes.
Whatever you decide, I would agree with FeureVox that having a job these days is a blessing. Be absolutely certain before you let go.
Always have to have something secure or in writing before you leave. Don’t want to leave your income stream for something that could be that just common sense. Stick it out and if you’re upset just know that something better will come along if there isn’t any advancements where you are.
