Time for change
Handed in my notice into my cheffing job after 9 years of being treated like crap and feel awesome.got a new job within the hour less stress less guests less hours and same wage.things r finally looking up
I am so proud of you!!! You are an example I want to follow. I am a chef as well- in charge of a catering company- Chef de Cuisine/Head Chef. I run the day to day and I do EVERYTHING. We are having such a hard time getting quality employees so I just take it all on myself. I’m exhausted, burnt out and I am just so done. I feel like I get very little respect and have just become the work mule. I would love to quit tomorrow and I am working on getting out but it will take a minute. So jealous and proud of you. That’s hard to do, especially if you have been in the same kitchen and with that crew for 9 years, wow! Good for you!!!!! That is just awesome!!!!
