Feeling isolated

My life experience was so Traumatic. I have struggled to speak. I have not been going out for fear of bad people but I have started going out for walks with my new dog. And I have a lovely partner.

But my family manipulate, and are passive aggressive. And treat my physical illness like I'm making everything up. I have had to limit my time with them over the years and before I moved away. But with moving I would visit and be greeted angrily by my parents. No matter what I did. I believe they've caused a lot of my trauma. I returned home thinking they might change. Nope. I have even had them making choices made for me. Putting me down for finally having a nice home and things.

It's a constant battle because of them.

I literally either feel sick in their presence, have panick attacks or go quiet. And feel dammed if I do, dammed if I don't. They permanently make me the bad guy. I definitely am not.

Our true mother is Mother Earth if your family does not treat you in a healthy way you have a right to turn to those for support who treat you with respect and kindness and steer clear of negativity wherever and whoever it comes from

Thank you. 😊💗

I am working on my boundaries with parents and sister. I limit my time by visiting them and leave when it gets too intense if they break them. This is helping me cope. Because if they visit my home I cannot escape. I still feel panicked but have more control.

@Toothsweetie

Wonderful @toothsweetie.

You are going out - hurrei!

You have a partner - hurrei!

I think that there is much wisdom in what Monkey wrote.

I can relate to you in somebody saying "I'm making up my ilness." (My brother, who also is a doctor, don't believe in me/my sickness - ME/CFS - ).

From Helga.

Thank you ❤kind Helga

I am really enjoying my walks with my lovely dog 🐕 and love the freedom it brings me. Not been able to walk for a long time.

Some Doctors need to be more holistic. I spent many years not knowing what was wrong with them only diagnosing IBS and anxiety.. I have rare condition. Which is like MS. I find this newer generation are more open minded.

I believe you xx
