Weekly challenge - Divorce - June 10 - 16 - 2019
Some folks were asking what types of challenges they might have during a divorce and after and thought that those that have experience or know of individuals that have gone through this or going through this can give others some help. Maybe provide things that they might think about prior to making the decision might help them also.

losses include lack of emotional and financial support, loneliness, loss of direction and identity, loss of relationship with your children and loss of residence.
I went through my only divorce in life. When I married her I told her: "it is not a paper or a metal ring that keeps us together but our love, if you do not think you can live with me forever, please don't marry me"...when she found another love and I asked why she told me "peopke change, you understand", i understood and protected her from agressions and gave her more than half of our assets and baught her an appartment and ensured her freedom even if by law I wasn't obliged to give her anything but I did a short ammiable divorce and be done with it and give her her freedon and happyness. A divorce from love is devastating, i gave away all my personal posessions and abandoned my last beloved dog in a park at night...whether you give freedom to someone in a new love, or remove yourself from a toxic abusive partener it is never easy and always a trauma...I feel for you all🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗alot...
Its really important to make sure protect your money amd make sure you have a plan about assets/loans before you even mention a divorce. You may need to take steps ahead of time. My ex ruined my credit rating because he got the car and agreed to pay the loan, but then didnt. I never got a notification until the loan went into collection, which by then had already caused the damage. It took about 10 years to fix my credit rating with the help of a nonprofit that works with credit. Luckily I have an excellent rating now.
@Zengrl sorry you went through that. Divorces can be very traumatic.
I am so grateful for DIVORCE. I can't imagine what my life would be like if it weren't allowed, or if the wife weren't able to initiate it! We would be helpless and victimized. I count my blessings quite often that I am a free agent. 😸🐰😸
OK, it wasn't easy, but often, things that are worthwhile aren't easy. It takes a remarkable person to navigate divorce successfully. You can't change what happens to you, but you can change the way you encounter it: with resentment and bitterness, or grace and equanamity. You're taking a road manyof us have, and we all wish you the absolute best!
