@DanaMH one way to economize is to cook your own food and freeze portions for easy meals in the future.

That is so true. I like to buy in bulk also and freeze things which is usually cheaper. I love the pre-cooked meals that I try to make ahead or make double batches and have left overs. Although I have a teen and when I want something it is not always there.
@DanaMH I just made some chicken stew and that turned out nicely. I may not have anything left to freeze it is so good.

That is awesome. I used to ride the train to save on gas money and parking cost.
@DanaMH i wish we had trains where i live! I had the opportunity a few years ago to take advantage of commuting on a train and I really liked it. So much faster than driving, and less stress than being stuck in traffic!

Oh so true. You can catch up on a nap or read a bood or magazine. You can check email or use some cool app on the phone. Or just chat with someone else or watch the scenery outside.

My best savings comes from having clothing that matches easily by limiting colors in my wardrobe. Capsule wardrobe :)
