Weekly challenge - Summer ideas - June 1 - 9 - 2019
For some of us it is Summer or almost summer if it is still cold outside. Others on the other side of the world it is cold outside but you can still share summer time things.
Your challenge this week is to list at least 5 things you like to do in the summer when the weather is warmer that you enjoy doing so we all can get some new ideas for coping skills that we might like to add to our coping skills tool box for ideas to choose from.

Read outside in the sun, go for a walk (without bundling up), enjoyer the longer days, enjoy a nice glass of lemonade, visit an ice cream shop.

Those all sound nice. When we go to the coast the ice cream shop is a must year round.

We have a little ice cream shop the town over that we always make at least a few trips to each summer since it's only open in the summer....though admittedly I have a bad tendency of getting the same thing (pineapple sundae).

5 things that I like/like to do during summer
1.) Go swimming.
2.) BBQ.
3.) Sit outside at night.
4.) Roast marshmellows.
5.) Turn the ac on.

Those are all fun. We are doing a BBQ next weekend for a graduation party for my son. Hoping the sun stays around for it since we will have a household. Roasting marshmallows is so fun also. We did that a few weeks ago out camping.

1. Go hiking
2. Hug a big tree
3. Go swimming
4. Soak up vitamine D
5. Build a san castle

That sounds like fun. Sand castles are always fun to make.
Fun things fir the summer are
- Visit the lake
- Go for ice cream
- Enjoy the long days
- Go to fire works on the 4th
- Make sun tea

The lake sounds like fun. And yes, I am looking forward to the 4th for the fireworks also. Hope you enjoy them also.

2. Eat cold watermelon
3. Sit by a lake and read
4. Go to the movies

Those sound like fun. I have been watching movies on the laptop outside and some of the birds around here are really making a lot of noise during them.

still learning about sculpturing with limestone and also concrete, first project pretty much finished (Buddha statue)
