Hi lovely people in the 50+ community. Happy Friday and a wonderful weekend 
Holiday shopping is coming up or even is already on for some people. Loooong lines 
Do you become impatient when you have to wait in a long line and what could you do to prevent becoming impatient? If it does not apply to you, what do you think people could do?
When I see others in the lines I try to imagine their thoughts, some might be stressed out because of waiting, some might think about what to cook. It makes me feel more connected, kinda creates a feeling we are all in the "same boat".

I do! Well I'm super impatient but i just use that time to remind myself what i plan to do after that or just observe my surroundings. Im used to long queues hahah

I do not get impatient in lines, I have been in far to many. I am not sure what other people should do, I would recommend they just enjoy the time they are there.

Look for things interesting about each person in the queue or their differences and personalities, try and work them out which will help pass the time in long queues. Its also a good way to key up on self protection techniques to weigh people up very quickly.

Scarlet, I do that too if I it's only one or two pieces and I do not need them desperately but it also happened that when coming back the queues were even longer

Something to learn from
@amiablePeace77 , Ocassionally , I enjoy the long lines as it makes a part of all the excitement, hassle and fun of rushing to buy something during the festive season. It feels good to be part and one of the community I live in . But there are times , I honestly wish the line will be shorter especially when I have lots of other things to do. Nowadays , I try my best Not to have anything lined up , when I go shopping. I like my peace of mind and relish the experience of browsing and choosing more leisurely.

I like that way of shopping, taking your time, looking here and there, comparing and makes it a nice experience instead of stressful shopping.
