How are you?
Hi everyone!
I hope you are all doing well! I can't believe it's been 2 weeks since the New Year already! Time flies when you're having fun! 🎉
I wanted to check-in with you all and allow you to have this space to talk about anything that may be on your mind or just a place to say hello! How are you doing this year so far? Are there any goals that you are working on or any that you have accomplished? What is something you are proud of yourself for this week?
I hope you all continue to have a great week and a great rest of January! Be kind to yourselves always!❤️

I cannot believe we are already 2 weeks into 2022! Seems like just yesterday it was Christmas!
I am working on really taking time for my health and well-being this year. I am training for a marathon and am starting yoga for destressing from school and work!
This week, I signed up for a hot yoga class. Not gonna lie, I am feeling a bit nervous about it, but will be fine...right? I'm sweating already 😅
@fruityPond7887 Ive been working on myself alot, reading, fitness, listening to podcasts on things that interest me alot, and ive been busy with my band creating songs and covering songs! So so far 2022 is going very well for me. Yours?

I'm good! I do appreciate the check-in.
So I'm definitely proud that I've tried to prioritize my sleep and self-care. And I look forward to the new year continuing these positive habits. Our bodies, to me, represent our quality of life so it's important that I do my best everyday. :)

I'm struggling to "let go." I tell myself that most things are out of my control so I shouldn't be worried about them, because I can't do anything about them. That's my goal for 2022. Let go of fear, anxiety, frustration, worry. Live for this moment, right now, and stop fearing the "what if" scenarios my mind creates.
2022 is about loving myself, letting go of worry, and dreaming of happy, positive times ahead.
Hello 50+ Group,
I have been getting in touch with my creative side by researching art studio and workshop spaces in the Toronto, Ontario, Canada area for artists with disabilities like me.
Came across some potential places but a lot of them are closed due to Covid.
Also, finding something affordable is challenging.
I want to find a place where I can be both noisy and quiet. I need to use a Dremel tool to cut clear plastic for windows/skylights for my architectural models. I also need there to be quiet places/times to contemplate my next design/artistic moves for my personal projects. And to sketch in quiet surroundings or with soft music.
Please pray for me to find somewhere.
God bless and stay safe,
Swordpsalm

Hello!
I am tired of negative things being spoken to me. I am tired of people not giving me credit over things, example my mom told me I was a defeatis yesterday, I don't give up but in her mind I do. So I am trying to find healthy ways to express my feelings, which is drawing, nothing fancy, basically drawing situations that are upsetting to me then writing the feelings out and it is helping.

I was able to finish my first book two days ago! I'm looking to read more and more, but I just need to visit a book store to get more haha.
