Good point about importance of things - it's about what value we attach to them, things but also thoughts.
@amiablePeace77 I would tell my younger self that you only get once chance at this life, so live it as you would love to.
You alone, should decide this and be selfish about it, only consider what you want from life.
Be considerate to others, respect your family and friends, and be mindful of your culture, but be selfish about your path in life :)
People move on, die, lose touch etc, so ultimately, you will end up living your life without those who are in your younger years. When this happens, you want to ensure you are living a life you love and working a job you love, not one that someone else wanted for you.
I would also tell me that everyone is entitled to their opinions, respect them but do not allow them to pass on doubt to your own self. Your opinion of yourself matters more. :)

@amiablePeace77 i guess i would teach them that it never really matters what others think of you. whatever you do, however you act, someone will always criticize you and that is really just a harsh reality of the world. i would teach her that its okay if you are not liked by everyone and that it doesnt matter because you live for yourself. you can do anything and everything as long as it makes you happy. i would tell her to be 'selfish' and prioritize herself always. i would also teach her that being in your own company isnt a 'weird' or a loner thing, its really just enjoying being on your own, and that its more a blessing than a curse.

Many people consider being "on your own" as negative but it does have many benefits too depending of course what your needs are.

If I could be a teacher to my younger self, I would teach them that you can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves. I used to take on the responsibility of trying to fix or support people who weren’t ready to change or accept help, and it left me feeling drained and frustrated. I’ve learned that it’s important to set boundaries and recognize that people have to want growth for themselves. Offering support is valuable, but it’s not your job to carry someone else’s weight if they’re not willing to meet you halfway.
