Need to Connect
Hello-I am new! I lost both my sisters who used to call me to chat every day...I would really appreciate a hello now and then! I miss them very much. Do you find yourself getting more and more isolated?

Yes I do April Rain. I've just recently retired and I don't go too far very often because of COVID-19. But I do have the most amazing relationship with my 2 sisters and we connect daily. I can't imagine life without them. Can you tell me about your sister's?

One of my sisters was older, 81, but she was like my second Momma! One was younger - only 64.
I miss them! I have no one to talk to anymore. My daughter is very busy, and my only remaining friend
will only take a call once a week. She still has her sister to talk to every day...

I am so sorry to hear about your sister!
My sister had a brain tumor and had similar symptoms. She could not remember much of anything that happened during the last 12 years of her life.
It is hard to connect with anyone due to the pandemic.

I am old/new. I have not been on the site in a few years, until about a week ago. I am so sorry about the loss of your sisters. It is very hard when someone you are so connected to is gone. I am hoping you have found ways to connect on this site or other sites/ groups. Hang in there, there are a lot of great helpful people on this site. Hoping you are having a good weekend.😀

I am trying to figure out if I should retire. It is a very emotional decision as I work with deaf and hard of hearing students and there are not enough teachers around. My students are wonderful but the district is a mess it leaves me depressed some days.
@niceMoon405 Gee...what do you think? I had a job I loved, but had to retire. I then did something else and oh my gosh!!!! i have never been so happy.
I say, do what you want, but don't do nothing!!!!Have a plan!!!
