My week was kind of up and down. So far this year, I seem to be losing ground to depression and anxiety. I did just join 7 Cups and I hope it will help me turn things around a bit.

Dealing with depression and anxiety is incredibly hard, I am very happy that you joined 7cups and hope you will find the support you are looking for. Reflecting back on the time from beginning of this year to now when was the unexpected better than what you expected?
Mostly, it hasn't. Almost every unexpected thing this year has been a disaster, along with most of the expected things. Not a good year for me. The only thing I can think of was when my boss hired a new supervisor over me and a bunch of the other people. He turned out to be much better than I expected.
