So, at times I think about journaling just to have my thoughts down on writing. does anyone else do this? Do you do it in a blog or different format? looking for thoughts.

I just write mine out freehand in a journal

To me the style is not important, just the process 💚🤗

I do journaling for i think more than a decade already.  Helps me deal with my emotions.  Cause for me there are some things that I have a hard time saying with words.  With writing I just let it all flow out.  Those sadness, those anger, those pain. All the good and bad that happened to me on that particular day.

Yes, I do write in my beautiful diary every night before I go to bed.

I just pen down my thoughts in my own way. It gives me a sense of peace and calm. 😇

I'd journal ifbinqas you, all the them Mustangs to be fearful of every night.

I'm a newbie, I had tried and stopped a few times over the years but not being particularly spiritual had always struggled with gratitude and self compassion practices. I read a book that had a section on neuroplasticity that piqued my interest so I started journalling before breath or body scans before sleep. I'm really surprised at how much it has helped me have increasingly more mindful moments during the days where I'm often making mental notes to add them to my journal.

I started an online one just using the 'notepad' on my phone as it is always with me but past couple of weeks I've continued making notes on my phone but transcribing then onto a paper journal as part of my bedtime routine. I am finding it therapeutic and feel a little calmer, bonus as my brain does spin, and my handwriting is slowly improving too ð¤ªð¤ª

As a newbie to journallng, highly recommended, will I persist and it becomes a daily ritual ? Who knows, ADHD suggests not but I hope to.
