Mortality
I'm curious, how did you accept your mortality? Or have you yet?
Yes & no...it's complicated.
If I were to have an opinion about it, I would rather have never been...mortality would not only have never occurred to me, but it wouldn't have been a concern to begin with
The best way that helped me was to simply enjoy the good times whilst it lasts and accept that I made the most of what I have done in life.
Also having a healthy lifestyle that is sustainable makes aging more graceful rather than living every day like it's your last.
@BlatantHonesty what does morality mean ??????? I will give you my answer to my story
I agree with Woody Allen: “I'm not afraid of death; I just don't want to be there when it happens.”
Being alive is something vastly extraordinary. Not to mention being conscious (and not merely alive).
Being already dead is ok, like business as usual. Our normal state for infinite time.
But the transition, dying, might be emotionally very painful. Severed relationships, aborted plans, etc.

Uh, what are you talking about??? I am Apollo! I am not mortal! Well, I have been three times, but that’s besides the point! (Trials of Apollo reference ☺️) I will now recite a haiku!
I am not mortal
I am the amazing god
Apollo, now kneel
(I’m sorry I’m a huge Percy Jackson fan and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Anyway, to actually answer your question… well actually idk)
Oops sorry saw this and didn’t realize it was in the 50+ community. So sorry, I was just on my main page for 7 Cups. Just ignore me
