what to do if partner does not see time is short
When people are younger they often fall into a someday we will...............( insert item )
I will start my exercise program tomorrow..... or saving or anything.. We are past that yet my spouse still falls into plans for next year or year after not big items that take time to plan but basic things we CAN just do now ... i bought tickets to a baseball game was rained out so they gave me other tickets for another game we went with grandkids he complained whole time not the right seats the stairs were too many for his knees etc etc.... so now he is saying buy tickets a year in advance to get the "right" seats but i feel when time comes he will want to sell them or something that maybe next time is his mantra...
I told him today that SOMEDAY is NOW not some mythical place down the road and we are NOT getting younger ...... if it is hard now next year will not be easier....... he stormed off and is being a baby about reality .......

I hear you Tiger,
My Partner does things very similar. But also throws in the “wowies me” thing.
We are NOT getting younger, there are
so many things I wish for us to do together before it is too late but the
Partner doesn’t get it!
I get it!
@Barltik2065
It really does help when someone else gets it.... I have tried telling him time and time again he only gets mad .. because he knows i am right ......
For everyone out there TIME waits for no one .... putting off getting well / losing weight / changing jobs etc is letting time slip through your fingers........ i would rather do items that were just OK then have time spent on would've / could've and should've
@toughTiger6481
Could've, Should've, Would've, but didn't :(
