Hi, there! I'm not new. I'm Pat. I've been around for over 2 years. I hope you find this website as helpful as I have found it. I am 61 and semi-retired. I have found this site to be a great support for sorting things. Also, during being on here, I completed and published one book and am working on more books! It's a really great support for whatever your process or growth is, since you will meet people from all around the world, some who have similar problems, and also just some of the nicest people under the sun. I feel like there is a lot of encouragement here for self-care, which is very important. Also, you will find resources in many different areas. I am fond of the Adult Member Sharing Circles, because they are chats, and I like to interact with all ages of people. However, you find what's comfortable for you. @GreenWoods Hi, Green, so, thanks for asking. The one that is published is poetry and prose that is centered around the time I was caring for my dad and mom at the end of their lives. The one I'm working on currently is about my experiences working with students with exceptional needs. It's kind of a manual for teachers. There are a few other books in the wings, one that is completed centering around the year I was twenty years old, and pulled from old journal entries. Another one in the wings centers around years I spent running a typesetting collective in the 1980s that catered to civil rights and progressive groups in the area I lived at the time.

@GreenWoods Thanks, Green, I agree. It's funny, for most of the first half of my life I thought I had nothing to say, and now I almost have too much to say, and not enough time to get it all out!!!!!!
