Midlife
I find myself going through so many phases in my 50's.
Whatabout you?
Yes, my health is my primary focus now, during my early 40s my health was good so that decade wasn't all that bad, but the 50s forget it

I hear you kindScarf. In my early 50s things went up and down, I had phases too. Although it is always important to take care of your health I find it's even more important in our 50's. Hormones can make managing emotions very difficult and the body shows bigger changes then before, things are simply not as easy as when younger anymore. Something that helped me to deal with all of it was focusing on a healthy diet, exercise and meditation and most of all finding meaning in life.
What are you currently doing for self-care and are there things you are particularly passionate about?
For Self-Care I journal every night, mainly do a brain dump so I can sleep.
I am passionate about reading new genres and quitting
@kindScarf561
A brain dump sounds good before bedtime. What is the most helpful book you've read so far or you could recommend? I guess you meant quilting instead of quitting?
@kindScarf561
I can relate, in my 50s been through more than what's considered typical for this decade. It was h*ll for me, didn't think I was going to make it. Still here hoping for some tiny bit of hope and joy.

@amiablePeace77
Thx for the support, I like to walk in the woods, painting, reading books, writing in my journal. I love gardening and feeding the birds . I love the beach and find the waves to be calming. These things sooth my broken soul. ABB💜
@amiableBlackberry92
Those are wonderful things to do and I hope along with coming here they will help to heal your broken soul 💙
