Hello @AffyAvo. I've been a listener for several years now (on & off), and I'm just discovering the 50+ group. I will try to stop in to this board periodically when I can. Thanks for leading it.

hello all 59 here omg and now life changing unexpectantly.Fired from the job i had for 22 years. Wonder why i was targeted? others older longer at job..a few lesser experienced and not donig the job very well but providing numbers..mangers loved numbers..i am the middle guy...good work great customer service but terrible numbers due to the nature of my honest job coding..i didnt fluff the numbers... so i made the mangrs look bad ...they had me on a improvement plan what ever that meant for two years with a threat of firing me for two years..i was getting good numbers but they would put me back on the plan for no reason....never was i taken off for good numbers....Why? and then i am fired because the tracked GPS readings conflicted with my time sheet reports.....Fired...now why wasnt i told i was being tracked on my GPS location and job closing Why was i not told this when after i was fire the mangr had a meeting with the crew and told them to watch their GPS why was i not told to watch my Timing of job closer and location....why was i targeted and now where can i go

Being fired is rough. Are you hoping to get full time employment still? I know some people who after leaving a job - voluntary or not sometimes look for something a bit more hobby based. Working in a garden center or tutoring a subject they enjoy or retail of something related to one of their hobbies.
Or are you hoping to continue on with a similar career?
