How do you say goodbye?

I can see that you seem to be struggling with saying goodbye and are also a bit sad about resigning - I understand sometimes, we have to move on, and I personally share the struggle at saying goodbye.

What I think is that sometimes it is not necessary to say goodbye forever. I have observed people who change companies/jobs and still remain in contact with their fellows, sometimes to the extent of still trying to help out and thus being up-to-date with some aspects. I think that touch helps them.
