How to find a spiritual counselor
I have a counselor now who is not spiritual. How do I find a counselor who is spiritual? I believe in Angels who guide me and I need someone who is open to this.
@sociableWillow5143 Maybe search the Internet? I searched for angel therapy just now, and I was able to find some professionals who say they work in this way. It's my understanding that distance is not a problem.
I also searched our therapists here at 7 Cups, but unfortunately I wan't able to find anyone appropriate among them.

We can try to write a little bit if you want to. I'm a Christian, 68 years old. I am not a therapeut, just a member here at 7Cup.
But i believe in Jesus and in the Bible, the Word of God.

I wrote a message below and here comes a little bit in more about Gods angels (who are servants to them that shall inherit salvation). Psalm 91.11-12 (from the Bible): "For He will give His angels (especial) charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways. They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone."
I believe in Jesus. I am familiar with some of the bible. My mom is guiding me all the time. She is an Angel. She died 13 years ago.

I'm sorry your mother passed away - what is your age now? Are you a woman? I'm 68 and I'm a woman.
Well - often we say: "She is so wonderful - she's just like an angel." But really, it is not a big compliment because human beings are higer in grade than the angels (like we also are higer in grade than the animals). But the angels are lovely. I once met several of them who helped me. Also often a feather fall out of my cover. Then I say to myself: "Here has been an angel." You can read Hebrews 1.14 if you want to and 1.Corinthians 6.3 also.
In Colossians 2.18 in the Bible we can read that we shall not worship them.
There are so many wonderful examples in the Bible how the angels are helping. But there are also fallen angels so we must take care.

Hi,
I agree with @RarelyCharlie. I know of other online places that do have therapists/counselors listed as Christian and such. You can go to these other online couneling sites and can usually enter criteria that you are seaking in a therapist. I have done this and it works.
Spiritual is not a course and you can't find the master and it's not a therapy. Understand the life and let it surpass. Humans making topics on anything and naming everything. Stop searching, you will get the answer.jusr sit back and watch. Enjoy!

some people in life do feel great needs to be right, tell others what to do, think, belive--they o9ften get quite frustrated and mad..........sitting back watching
@amelia2324 Yes, you are right. Ppl followings their needs by following others. But forgot themselves and their lives. Limiting our needs will do the magic. Anyway humans listening others to judge what's right and wrong, in every other situations. This society is a game of how to make someone blind to get what you need but won't like to get caught. So, it's all happening because there are too much need for unnecessaries.

I have been "sitting back and watched" for 15 years now, (not complaining - just telling) inside my flat because I do not have the energy to move outside (Myalgic encephalomyelitis). So I wait for your words "let life surpass" to be true in my life.

@Helgafy Vanakkam!🙏 Anything and everything starts with our practises we have been through. This nature never is very simple as Being straight forward everytime to show what's wrong and how to get back in the name of remedy. spirituality becomes a fashion and ppl think, they can play with it in their own ways. But, This nature is pretty different to give you the key but you have to be a friend with this nature. It does mean " If it ain't broke, Don't fix it". This body can attain the frequencies to crack the light sources to understand thr existence of this body and the reason of this soul and why it has 'n' no. Continuous births. This body keeps vanishing to get back here to make the piece of soul to understand the existence. Till then this body will be rotating in every other aspects. Spirituality is not waiting for blessings from someone, but making yourself calm to witness the ultimatum. Sit back and watch is not a free time to take rest as you understood before but it's penance to attain. You cannot hear outside If you are shouting inside. I said SIT BACK AND WATCH! LETS SEE! You will be alright!
@Helgafy Soul is just one and we(all living beings) are stitched together. Our bodies are looking different but the realm is what humans couldn't understand everytime. Mirage like beauty and magic like money are blinding them so far and so good. You will be alright. Enjoy!

Sweet friend @SoulPitstop. Vanakkam.I cannot agree with you saying:"Soul is just one". I think we all have our very own soul. We each are spirit, soul and body. When I meet God (a good meeting for me because I'm a Christian and I'm rightous because I have believed in Jesus - Gods own son) God will ask me what I did with my life (my soul). I don't have to carry the weight of the soul of the whole world (and answer for their life)!
@Helgafy vanakkam 🙏 I never try to change someone's beliefs. But, the truth is different then human beings stories and the understandings currently being analysed. It's just a forum to discuss matters. When you are doing good deeds, then why bother? You just keep enjoying this life as far as you can.

As we are having a couple of eyes, It does mean we can have two visions at the same time. Beliefs are different than real life understandings by our own experiences. This body is completely soil and minerals and it will go back to the land when time comes. The soil again replenishes and regain its state to mix with the other things. Likewise, It will never stop gaining it's shapes to understand thr existence. When we do understand, then you can shred the light and you will know what this existence making living things purpose.
You are doing good deeds even though whatever you believe. So, I don't cross. You will be alright and you are going to enjoy. 🙏

Thank you my sweet friend @SoulPitstop. You are male? Age ? I'm a woman and I'm 68. I think it is nice that you are so occupied with life/spirituality. Like you I think we are immortal. But - there will forever only be one of me - Helga. Because I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins God will take me to his wonderful heaven when I die and there I'll stay forever praising Him.
You say: "to be a friend with this nature" - what does that mean - our own nature or is it God? I'm a friend of God, my Father in Heaven and He loves me so much.
Well as you understand I don't believe in "continuous births" as you are writing about. Then there would only be about 15 people at this earth if we all the time went to live in one-anothers body.

I'm not saying we are going to born again and again. I said in this cosmos lives are being shuffled and it will be getting births continuously. Number is mirage. Identities of us will be forgotten. But this soil keeps making lives when this soil body goes to back to where it came from. If mother knows her womb, then this body will regain its lives in different shapes. Nevertheless, texts cannot fulfil the needs and understandings. Will take sometime to get the realm. Good to know you!

They are very good integrated in society, we even have a tamil in the Governement. My brother is an engineer in computers. In his class there were 2 tamils - nice young men.

When these human beings can make rules and regulations in this land of nature as they think everything is under control in the name of humanity and it can turn into a fact for decades and decades, Why can't the truth rule for sometime? It's not my opinion. You can't set rules for this nature. Nature is always nature. It will react and combine anyway. We will get answers immediately whatever we suggest and do. Understand the basics.
