Turning our dreams into reality as we grow older means we shift from trading ruushed ambitions into a purposeful action. as we age comes clarity, time, and emotional wisdom turing old aspirations into achievable chapters. It isbuilding what truely matters in your life into chapters.
Dreams tend to be more reflective and older adults tends to dream about the legecies they will leave behind for their families to remember them by, and the interactions we have had with them also. Dreams do change as we grow older as your brain, daily life, and sleep patterns chang so do the themes, colors, and frequencies of our dreams change.
Younger dreamers tend to dream seeming more vivid while older people tend to dream of complicated and less-emotional situatioons. our dreams fade because of society thinking we have a cut-off point. It is never to late to achieve our dreams sometimes we find them when we are younger or it comes to you as you grow older.
People tend to report their dreams differently as they age. Our dreams reflect what goes on in our waking life. Parallels in our sleep and reality reveal very little of about why our dreams change as we grow older. Our dreams as an adult are more mundane. It shows us showing up late to something in a dream and trying to do it over and over again.
At the end of life, we are reported as seeing departed love ones or packing to go on a vacation more. This process helps you understand that life maybe coming to an end, and makes the dying process easier for yhou to deal with.

This is really interesting. Over the years you hear experts say that we can't come to direct conclusions from our dream activity. Like you said Pam, a lot of times it just mimics the events in our lives.
But I have an example of what I believe is a dream that is fascinating in how it brought the inner child to the adult in a moment of compassion, mercy, and understanding.
In my dream I was walking into a room, with another woman that was older than I. What I saw was a boy of 3-4 years old locked in a cage. The strange part is that his face was older than his age and looked just like me. I remember calling over to the woman to come over and see this..... but she never came.
So I truly believe that I was seeing is me as the adult looking upon this poor child who didn't have that chance to say NO, or the opportunity to be heard. I think it was God in some way showing me to be patient, understanding and have compassion for the inner child in me. Healing takes time, prayer, and continuing to grow.
What's funny about this, is I am one of those people who rarely remember any dreams. Anyway I thought I would share, because sometimes there's reason why we dreamt that particular dream and were to remember it, and even find the meaning behind it (though the vast majority of dreams are not meant to be remembered). But no expert can convince me what I dreamed did not have a story to tell and a meaning behind it .
