Why do I find love hard?
It's not a perspective that my subconscious mind has adopted because of the generation we are in, or maybe it has, I'm still unaware. I feel this generation has more experience of going with the flow which involves acting on their instantaneous mood rather than going against the flow for the time and efforts they've invested selflessly into their feelings. Why has this become a generation of fake promises, breakups, heartbreaks and although being strong in quantity but no less in the intensity? People just change because as they say they've been feeling this or they've been thinking this. Why has feeling become an excuse for letting go? Why aren't efforts prioritised? Why is letting go always a viable option? Maybe these questions have made me find love hard.

It seems you're frustrated about all the things, the changes in our societies. It is not always easy to accept those changes in thinking, in behavior and I find the more I focus on things/people that are not like I want them to be the more the more frustrated and sad I become. We can't change others, everyone has the right to be as they want, to make their own decisions (provided no harm is caused of course). I hope that you will find people irl and also here who have the same or similar values as you have. What concerns other people I find it makes life easier when one practises acceptance and tolerance, as hard as it can be at times.
