I still remember my favorite lunch lady!
Barb Mourno was beautiful and kind, and since it was a small school all the food was the best ever. She took great care to make me feel special with seconds, extra butter dripping homemade bread and even freshly baked pie!!

Thanks so much for sharing! 😆. Your post made me smile and drool 🤤....
Yummy! Sure wish I had your lunch lady!
So funny, the term lunch lady just brings back so many school year memories!
What a fun blast to the past!

It was a nice memory, im sure she knew she meant a lot to me, i loved her, and not just for all that home cooking. It was a great experience going to school in a 3 room school house. 1st and 2nd grade were together on the ground floor, 3rd and 4th grade were on the second floor, and 5th and 6th were on the top floor. I remember they rang the recess bell when it was time to come back in. 🔔
