I don't know what's wrong with me.

June 23rd, 2016

I've gotten to the point where the only time I eat is if I am in front of someone, especially my mom. She has talked to me about eating disorders before and her friends have come me asking if there is anything going on. But I eat so much in front of them now to cover the fact but then I don't eat for another three days after because of what I did when I was with them. So I mean I eat, I eat a lot actually. But I always carry the guilt of doing such. Is this even considered a disorder? Because I do eat and I don't usually puke it back up.

@Blehbubbles

I'm not an expert on eating disorders but I would definitely speak with family or a professional

@Blehbubbles - Because I'm not a doctor / therapist, I certainly can't diagnose, but I will say that not eating for multiple days at a time is a very dangerous thing that certainly sounds a lot like an eating disorder to me, and in general, anytime food/eating are getting in the way of your life, whether through preoccupation, guilt, or whatever else, that's an issue that warrants working on.

If you need someone to talk to about it and to work through this with, feel free to message me - I would love to support you.
