What are some aspects of your personality that you are thankful for ? And why ?
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Recovery from childhood trauma (and in that process, excavating and discovering my personality) has taught me to really love myself.
It turns out that my personality is pretty fun-loving and loves to laugh. My favorite thing about myself, though, is probably my resilience. :)

Hi, Serene! Great post! Resilience is a wonderful quality to have! Way to go!
@Sunisshiningandsoareyou
Some of the things I like about myself are my positivity (helped me in many situations), my curiosity about people, my kindness, and my humor.
My positive outlook helps me reframe situations I am in to understand what I am learning, how I can create something better or new, and foster appreciation for what I have.
My curiosity has helped me dig deeper and do research to understand why life and relationships are so tough sometimes. Knowledge is the key to understanding and formulating our thoughts. (Why am I the way I am?)
My kindness has helped me care for others and for myself, too.
My humor has helped me laugh at many terrible situations that have come my way. This can be things as small (and painful 😖) as stubbing my toe on the side of my couch, to something huge like losing my older brother. Some things hang over us like a huge snarling monster with the strength of 10 men. I find that if I laugh and find the joy, the monster gets smaller and smaller, and really, only wants to be picked up and held like a baby.
