February Leader of the Month: ItsDev!

Congratulations to @ItsDev for being nominated and named as one of our February Leaders of the Month! Dev has been doing a great job leading our Adult Events Team. Learn more about them and their role on 7 Cups!

⭐️ What roles or projects are you involved in on 7 Cups?

I am currently a Support Team Leader for Events Team, Support Room Mentor for Member Hangout, Chatroom Mentor for Listener Support Room, Chat Support, Peer Support and Project Agent for Hobby Zone.

⭐️ What has been your biggest accomplishment on 7 Cups?

I'm always looking to "better myself" on 7Cups and develop new skills and I feel that the biggest way for me to do that, is by trying new things. When I was asked to try out as the new Support Team Leader and Support Room Mentor for Adult Events Team / Member Hangout, it was a scary new experience but one which was so worth it and it would have to be, by far, my biggest accomplishment on 7Cups so far.

⭐️ How would you describe 7 Cups in one word?

Family

⭐️ What is your favorite 7 Cups memory?

What I love so much about 7Cups is that I am always able to make new, fun memories within the community, but my favourite memory would have to be hosting my Games Nights in Member Hangout room and ending things off with a Compliment War, so we can all come together after an hour of fun to just spread some love and kindness to one another. That's what 7Cups is all about, right? I always love seeing people support each other and raise each other's spirits.

⭐️ Who is your biggest inspiration?

I have a few people that I really look up to, both in real life and within our lovely community. In real life, I've always looked up to Hugh Jackman as an actor, for starting out doing something he loved as a P.E. Teacher and progressing to become one of the biggest actors in the world.

On 7Cups, I have to give massive shoutouts to my two biggest inspirations in the community who helped me in my personal development as a Listener, helped me work on my mistakes and allowed me to take on these incredible opportunities. Thank you so much @Lorraine234 and @sweetLily41

⭐️ What is your dream job?

I have always wanted to be an actor, specifically in theatre, but I wouldn't mind doing some television/movie work. To me though, it's the best feeling in the world when you come out to do the bows and wave goodbye to the audience as you hear them applaud because it's at that moment you realise you entertained them and they had a good time.

⭐️ If you could have any pet in the world, what pet would you have?

I have two Beagles at the moment, Milkshake and Rover, but I would absolutely LOVE a capybara as I think they are adorable. Plus, they get on well with everything and everyone!

⭐️ What is your favorite inspirational quote? (and why)

⭐️ If you could give one tip to a brand new listener or member what would it be?

To all of my lovely, amazing and kind-hearted new Listeners and Members in the community, what I want to say is to take things one step at a time. As a Listener, I know how exciting it can be to want to join in and explore new projects and teams and take on so many new responsibilities, but work your way up to it and take your time so you don't exhaust yourself because it can be hard work :')

This also goes for all of the amazing Members right now. If you're going through a difficult time, worrying about something that's coming up, take things slow and focus on the right now as opposed to the future and know that so many people care about you and want to help.
