Let's Engage: Academy Team Hobby Thread 🏓🎨🎸🎮

🧗🏻‍♀️Welcome to the Academy Team's Hobbies Thread⛷️

👩‍🌾🏏🎮♡📺♡🎷🎳🤺

Hello everyone!!!

How have you all been doing this month?

I have been contemplating, and felt like it would be fun to create a space to chit-chat about our hobbies. Whether you are into a popular hobby such as gaming 🎮, or something more niche like origami, or baking yummy cakes🧁, then this is the place to share.

For me, recently, I inherited a beautiful garden from my mother (she passed away in February of this year, 2025). I am maintaining my mum’s garden in honor of her life. Surprisingly, I am finding gardening to be therapeutic; there’s something really calming in watching 🍅tomatoes🍅 plants flower and carpenter bees🐝 pollinate them. Also, I enjoy learning languages! and got the chance to learn Irish and Marathi this past year, and I will be exploring Persian for a year in July.
