Suggestion

@sensitiveScarf594 well here's my huge list that is nowhere near as big as it could be, but I know getting massively long lists can also make it hard to want to watch any sometimes :P hopefully it's not too overwhelming

Movies:
•Minari - drama, very character-driven & emotional, family trying to start a farm
•The Wolf of Snow Hollow - horror, really well done (not as scary as it is just a good watch), strange killings happening in a small town
•The Vast of Night - Scifi, interesting concept and style, signs of a ufo in a small town
•Night of the Kings - drama I guess, cool concept, not a perfect movie but interesting, man in prison has to tell a story for as long as he can
•Wolfwalkers - animated movie, pretty art style and nice story, clash between city folk and nature
•Sound of Metal - drama, very emotional, drummer coping with losing his hearing
•His House - horror, has some new stuff in it not just a typical average horror movie, immigrants having a difficult time adjusting and coping with their past
•First Cow - drama, essentially a nice friendship movie, settlers stealing milk from the only cow around to make sweets
•Sputnik - scifi, a pretty good alien movie, Russian astronaut returns from space but something is wrong

TV shows:
•Odd Taxi - an anime if you don't mind those (but not a generic style), but short and good story. A bit fast paced dialogue though
•American Vandal - comedy/crime, kind of silly but fun
•The Last Dance - sports, I really do not care about sports or basketball at all but it was really well done so enjoyable to watch
•Glow - about female wrestling, pretty good
•Dead Like Me - I haven't watched this in a long time but I loved it when I did, interesting concept about becoming a reaper after you die
•Lovecraft Country - monsters, magic, and racism basically :P
•The Boys - a superhero show done quite differently, very violent
•Fargo - up and down with quality over the seasons but still great drama/crime show
•Over the Garden Wall - animated, good story and cute style, good to watch in the fall
•Supernatural - it really did have a good concept and story for like the first 5 seasons, wouldn't recommend after that though unless you just like the characters
•I also like the older shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Twin Peaks, and X Files, although they can be a bit long but if you don't mind the time commitment and can excuse the badly aged fx/wardrobe, they're actually really great

Maybe one of them could catch your attention and help bring a little distraction in :) I know I watch far too many things as distractions myself
