Conquering my Internet Addiction..
Perhaps this is the very pinnacle of irony that I want to use the internet to help me deal with an addiction. I need to use the internet for a variety of things, so cutting it entirely isn't likely to happen. But what I want to do is have a period of 2 to 3 hours a day where I do not use the internet for anything. No phone, no computer, just me, the dog, a walk, or a book.
I will log my daily progress and write a small blurb about each day.
Bailed on it yesterday, just didn't care enough. No biggie. Back on today.
Going to log off for a bit and read for the rest of the afternoon and then go to work. Will log back on later tonight.

4 hours of no pc or phone time yesterday and it was glorious. Felt really nice to get offline. Took my dog for a nice 2 hour walk, picked up some dinner, came home and watched an hour of TV before heading to bed.
Today, not sure when I'll schedule my offline time, thinking from 2.30 to 8? 2.30 to 6 I'll be at work. I think that'll work fine.
blew it off last night due to forgetting my keys at work. had to use my phone to message a friend and then coordinate with them on where i could meet them to get my spare set I have them keep with me.
Will start back up tomorrow. Gonna watch the last jedi tonight and install a new operating system on my laptop. Besides, last jedi yo, somethings are just far more important than goals. :p
Kind of blew this off for a couple days. I got into it last night and had a nice 3 plus hour break from devices. It was quite refreshing.
been on this the last few days. Been starting my time just before I go to work and finishing it a couple hours after I get home. It's nice, very nice, as I loosened up about using worktime for this. It helps at work as I'm not dividing my attention between planning lessons and my phone. I don't allow myself more than 2 hours of worktime though as I want 2 hours of time outside of work as well.
