@Jill7cups i was first really dissapointed in myself, and it was harder to get back on track but i remember why i wanted to stop in first place & told myself healing from it is not linear.
@Jill7cups, I will remind myself everybody falls. What makes us special is we don't give up, We dust off and start back on our road to recovery. Nobody is perfect so we push on and prove we are worth it!
@Jill7cups
Relaps often made me feel workthless and weak. I felt discouraged and i hated myself for giving up so quick. A lot of disappointments and self negative talk. One thing I learned from it all was that I needed to love myself and forgive myself. When no one was forgiving I had to forgive myself. I had to be kind and treat myself the way I wanted to be treated. I don't think many of us realize what we say/feel about ourselves matter the most. I always self remind myself and others around. Be kind to yourself and don't be so harsh. Mistakes happen.
