@inventiveOak2378 i’ve been there. it’s so painful and when mixed with drugs, even more painful as it seems like it a never ending cycle. my personal suggestion would be to create some distance between you and her. distance helped me a great deal with focusing on myself and getting the help i needed to distance myself from alcohol and drugs. also remember that she is also a human being with many flaws. she isn’t the perfect replica you’ve made her to be in ur head. creating some distance will bring you one step closer to finding the person you’re supposed to be with. the person you’re supposed to love won’t cause you so much pain that you have to succumb to drugs to get over. 🩷🫂

Personally, I think you opening up in the first place was the first best decision you made and also you changing your mind and seeking a better life is also the 2nd best decision you can attend therapy and read books also engage in consultations draw a plan of you ideal self and work bit by bit towards it every day and I bet you your life will change. Also shift more into one religious affiliation that also helps a lot I will suggest Islam because it has many blessing very peaceful and has laws which prevent you from engaging in some things which others don’t.
