I hear you, and I want you to know that what you’re feeling right now the shame, the guilt, the hopelessness doesn’t mean you’re beyond saving. You’re not “disgusting.” You’re a human being who’s in pain and caught in something that’s taken more from you than you ever thought it would. Addiction is brutal like that it changes people in ways they don’t expect, but it does not erase your worth. The fact that you can sit here, put this into words, and admit what’s been happening… that’s already a sign of strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it right now. You’re still here. You’re still thinking about your cat. You’re still aware of the damage and want something different that means a part of you is still fighting. And that part matters. Recovery isn’t about pretending the past didn’t happen it’s about deciding, one small step at a time, that you won’t let it decide your future. You can stop this spiral. It will be messy. It will hurt. And it will take help professional help, trusted people, safe spaces. But people have come back from far worse than where you are now, and you can too. I want you to hear this clearly you are not beyond repair. You are not unlovable. You are not too far gone. You can rebuild trust, you can get healthy again, you can become someone you’re proud to see in the mirror and when it feels like too much just focus on today. What’s one thing you can do today that moves you even a fraction away from this life and closer to the one you want? That’s how it starts.

You are still worth saving, even if you can’t see it right now. I see it.
