Hey everyone, just wanted to put this out there... dealing with addiction or trying to break a bad habit is honestly exhausting. Some days feel easy, but other days it just feels like taking two steps back.

If anyone here is currently struggling or going through a tough time with this, please know that you're not alone. Small steps matter, even on the days it doesn't feel like it.

  • How do you guys handle the cravings or stay focused on hard days? Would love to hear your thoughts or just connect with anyone who gets it. Sending strength to everyone here toda

@Sharing3312 ooo I love this topic, its so hard to break habits when working on addiction and it can be exhausting.

For me, on days when the urges feel stronger or my mind starts drifting towards old habits, distraction is one of my biggest tools. I often do things like talking with friends, playing with my kitten or putting on a comfort show to help pull me out of the spiral long enough to let the craving pass. It doesn't fix everything, but it gives me some breathing room!

I also find journalling helpful, i tend to avoid the structured journals and just note down what i'm feeling or what patterns i start to notice. And when I know something has really impacted me or I’m heading into a rough patch, having a safety plan makes a huge difference. Even just having one safe contact who understands what I’m dealing with gives me a place to turn before things get too overwhelming.

I'm looking forward to hearing what everyone else does to stay focused and handle cravings! 💜
