I have been dealing with being a debtor and compulsively/impulsively spending the majority of my life.  Since September, I've been attending Debtors Anonymous.

I'm currently dealing with this problem as well. Defining your "why" helps a lot. He who has a 'why' can bear almost any 'how.' The Ramsey show helps me a lot, it can be motivating and the baby steps are a decent guide.
