I'm glad to know that. I'm having a great day so far.

@Alexo0010
I'm not happy, not by a long shot. I'm six days sober and I'm still really feeling edgy, bitter, and out-of-sorts. I'm still miserable and I still REALLY want to drink.
But this evening I found a glimmer of hope for me, and I haven't felt that in quite a while. It's going to take some time, patience, and work to do anything with that glimmer, but at long last it's there, and that's something.

Hi, Congratulations! I woke up this morning and didn't feel right and then I said I reached my saturation point, I made it past the package store closing and about to go to bed so I firmly have Day 1, I keep saying and thinking S A T U R A T E D, I'm craving that feeling ya get after a fresh haircut and close shave, I always feel better after a haircut lol I think it boosts your mood,
I'll say hi tomorrow if I can find this post again tomorrow! Take good care!~\
Blessings, Day
@juliak1968 The cravings tend to come in waves and I keep praying my way through them. Some seem like little ripples and others are like tsunamis. I'm taking every day hour by hour and avoiding interaction with other people as much as possible because I'm still too raw and volatile.
If I could get some reasonable sleep I'm sure it wouldn't be so bad.
Peace be with you, my friend. Look forward to hearing from you again.
Great job! I am going to limit the time I hang around my friends because I really think I just need the quiet time and like you said moment to moment - I will keep telling myself I've reached my saturation point :-)
Have a blessed day, Day
