@brightTurtle7695 Hey there! Reading this sounds like this must have been frustrating for you. Coping with addiction can be very hard especially when no matter how hard we try, the dopamine effect easily bring us back to where we just started. It can be really overwhelming and energy draining. What you are feeling is truly understandable. Anyone in your position would have felt the same. While, keeping yourself busy is  a wonderful coping mechanism but it's also understandable when we have nothing to do those feelings can come back. What I have seen people coping with this when they no tasks is working on lowering the dopamine effect. It's like when you get the triggerrr first of all practice the breathing exercise it can help you feel at calm and think clearly. Then comes to take part in activities reducing this effect it can be anything like journaling your thoughts, exercising, writing a gratitude list, taking breaks from the phone and computer devices, reaching out for support chats, etc. I hope this helps! 💛 Proud of you reaching out for support.

@cardae12 I appreciate you sharing that. I haven’t personally experienced it, but I heard many people who do. My intention here is simply to offer empathy and coping ideas that have helped others. 💛
