Need perspective: when a personal attraction starts affecting daily life

Hi everyone,

I want to talk about something personal that I’ve been struggling with, and I’m hoping to get some honest guidance.

For quite some time, I’ve had a strong attraction toward female feet and high heels. What concerns me isn’t just the attraction itself, but the intensity of it. At times, it feels difficult to ignore and can become genuinely distracting in my daily life.

I’m not posting this lightly—it’s something I’ve thought about a lot. I’d really appreciate thoughtful, non-judgmental perspectives from anyone who understands or has dealt with something similar.

Thank you.

@MrShivam

No judgement here 🩵

I can see the intensity gets too much to do what you need to do in your daily life.

Attractions often catch us off guard.

Or don't make sense.

There's nothing wrong with it in itself, but the problem comes when you don't think of anything else.

I think it's important to not actively seek out any images related to this and try and offset your energy In a healthier direction 🩷

@MrShivam

You might need to talk to a therapist to get to the core root of it 🩵

Hi there,

Thanks for being brave enough to ask a difficult question here.

No judgement from my side.

I read a book last year called "Unwanted" by Jay Stringer. He talks about the correlation between what we fixate on as adults and some of our childhood experiences.

Let me know if you'd like to talk more
