@IntrovertedPeach54

it's so difficult when you're already not earning enough to comfortably budget. is the obstacle not having enough money left over for this bill? are you able to pay off others but not this one?

It's so very hard to deal with debt and finances in these turbulent times and there are so many people like yourself having to find ways to make ends meet.
As always, things are getting so much harder and there's that constant, nagging sensation of having to deal with all of this alone.
You've tried hard to reach out for help with regard to your debts by attending meetings and that's a positive journey to undertake because you're acknowledging the personal battle with your finances.
It's just so very sad that there's not enough help for people in your situation and that's becoming an everyday occurrence that could even be considered part of a national tragedy.
As we are all aware, there's certainly a cost of living crisis happening right now and it needs to be stressed how important it is for everyone to understand it's something that's not going to end - despite the media/press telling us otherwise.
You only need to go out onto the streets and into the shops to experience the reality of people struggling with their families to find the most ideal prices to accommodate their limited budgets.
There's no way of getting around the hard fact this is a situation that is only going to get worse.
Everyone who earns the basic minimum wage (and that's a lot of people nowadays) will continue to experience the spending power of their money decreasing as the price of goods and services keep on rising.
It's certainly no wonder at all why people are suffering with their mental health regarding this crisis and depression over finances is affecting so many souls who just don't know where to turn for help.
Fortunately, there are groups out there (like the one you've been using) and they are a very valuable source of help and advice for those in need of it.
Many people can't afford professional, financial advice which means the debt and other financial related charities are now becoming more overwhelmed as they try their best to help as many people as they can.
As with all charities and voluntary organisations that are there to support the people in desperate need of help, the usual situation arises in which they are now fighting for their own survival due to escalating costs, government cut-backs and having to deal with issues that are becoming more complex and beyond their scope of service.
There's an ever growing crisis developing in which many people need the help, yet there's not enough help available.
Many people out there are suffering with their mental health because they are desperately trying to fight a personal war with either their debt problems or having to find a way to spread their meagre finances as far as possible to cover their household costs.
One option for yourself and others in your situation could be to gather everything together, such as bills, statements and so on.  Then contact each company to explain your difficulties and see what they can do to help, because many organisations have procedures to help people struggling with bills.
Stop using your credit card and focus on just paying the balance off as it will get a little easier to pay down the balance if you stop using the card.
Perhaps using a debit card would be easier as it could be considered similar to paying in cash.
It needs to be stressed over and over again, that everyone needs to understand this financial turmoil so many people are experiencing right now is part of an ongoing crisis that will continue.
Yes... There are those who will quickly lay blame upon anyone getting into debt in the first place but it's a lot more complicated than that because being in debt is now a part of everyday life for so many (if not all) of us.
There was once a genuine belief that someone's wealth was measured by the amount of money they owned and controlled and that belief was well and truly justified.
Today.  Although the good people still believe in that theory, the actual truth about someone's wealth lies in how much they are allowed to borrow, therefore the richest people today are blessed with much money that is actually borrowed, rather than owned.
Finances are a massive cause of our stress and the worry is always there, constantly nagging away at our hearts and souls, leaving us trying as hard as we can to fight our way through it.
At this point in time...  It's really all we can do.
