I am a recovering heroin/fentanyl addict who has used off and on from 19 years old until 25 years old. I am now turning 28 in 2 weeks. Yesterday I celebrated 31 months of continuous clean time!!! This is the longest time I have been drug free and I am so proud of myself. I am so grateful to have found recovery and realized my life is worth more than dope and a needle.

Good for you!! You absolutely should be proud of yourself! There are so many who unfortunately never make it out of that addiction. Esp when it's fentanyl. You are definitely strong and I hope you always keep that strength!

Thank you! I am planning on going back to school to become a Substance Abuse Counselor so that I can help recovering addicts in rehabs like my counselor when I went to treatment.

Congratulations, no one will quite know the hardships you have endured . You sound like you have respect for yourself and are able to recognise what an amazing achievement you have and continue to make.
