Dont know how to help
My boyfriend is in another state and just went through alcohol detox and is now in rehab. We don’t know when he is going to be done. I can only speak with him a few minute a few times a week. We used to text all day everyday. I want to help and understand but I have no idea where to start.

I understand your feelings and they are valid in everyway. I am happy he is taking the necessary steps to succeed with his recovery, and that he has someone like you to support him. i understand you miss speaking to him and just miss talking to him in general, if you would like to contact me more i would love to speak to you, as i am an addict in recovery for the last 5 years, So i can tell you my own experience with rehabs. i hope all is well, and you get more time to speak to him eventually<3
