Supporting My Gambler

My boyfriend of a few years won't stop gambling. It runs in the family, so he knows what it's like to be in my shoes a bit, but he won't stop. It's incredibly frustrating to see him waste away our future, and all I'm glad for is that we don't yet have kids.

I'm terrified of losing him as he truly is the love of my life. I want to make sure that I do everything possible to make it work for us, but how much longer can I keep it going?

My grievances are many, so I won't harp on them, but I'm sure you understand the situation I'm in. Do I stay and possibly help him overcome this demon, and move on with our otherwise perfect life? Or do I cut my ties now before things become irreparable?
