Who is the real them?

I'm feeling so devastated over my fiancé of 4 years breaking up with me because I found he was soliciting videos and images of girls on snapchats... The things he said to them were horrible, talking about rape and using them as his slave. I feel so sick and disgusted every time I think about it.

I knew he had a porn addiction, I thought that just meant looking at videos online...not interacting with them like this. I don't understand who he is as a person.

How does one face show me someone that asked me to marry them, wanted to travel the world with me and own a house with dogs to..... a monster...

I'm afraid for him, what will it take to get for him to realise what he's done and honestly change his ways?

Or is this....evil being how he really is as a person..?

I'm so lost and heartbroken.

@considerateNectarine3083 Oh, dear, how distressing. You must be in shock. When I learned my spouse (now an ex) was engaging in unacceptablwe behavior, it took me days to move through the shock phase. I chose to quietly prepare my exit from the marriage and enlisted the help of close friends to help me through it. Not one friend questioned my decision. I knew I wasn't going to change this person's behavior - I just knew I did not want to be a partner to that person. It was important for me to just take care of myself. I am thankful that it was such a clear line for me. There was no equivocation or bargaining -- I just knew it was a done deal and I had to get out. It was so painful, and I got myself to any 12-step group I could get into to process my devastation, shock, anger, depression, grief. Therapy helped. I'm sorry for what you're going through and would suggest you look at your goals in life and examine if you can reach those goals with this person as a partner. All the Best
