Feel hopeless

My bf came again here in our house and we make out again, i feel helpless because i think i cant still break the bad habit yet, i consult it to the pastor and he said we need to stop it because biblically speaking it is not right to do it, i try to apply his advice but im just failing to do it, i feel very hopeless, i think it is very hard to break this lifestyle because id been doing it for 10years, i feel like giving up
