Help I dont know what to do.
I used to have a porn addiction and a sex one (I still have the sex one) but overcame the porn one slowly, id hope i have at least but turned it into something worse to cope. I've used all variants of social media to portray another identity that isn't myself to talk to people older than me (18-26 year olds) and it became this addiction where id romantically chat to them etc etc and when id get bored id find another to chat to. They were all around the U.S and U.K so never had to deal with them irl.
I would send them photos, video call, voice call, etc everyday all day and it was like this thing where i got what i wanted which was attention. But obviously it all turned bad and now i cant stop. Ive got rid of every social media but yet i go crazy because i cant chat with these men who dont even know my real age, name or anything like that. And they probably dont even care about me but ived grown a connection and made it seem like they r all i need.

It’s understandable that you feel confused, but you’re already starting to find the answer yourself. You recognize that you engage in these activities due to a psychological/emotional void or lack. Therefore, try to identify where that need comes from and what you’re trying to silence or satisfy through the consumption of pornography, as well as through interacting with older people from whom you receive attention, validation, affection, care, and companionship that you likely don’t get in your immediate environment.
The issue is that this cyclical behavior activates neurotransmitters that put you in a state similar to consuming a chemical drug. That’s why you feel the need to continue, and when you decide to stop, you experience withdrawal, because your body no longer produces the same substances that made you feel “good.”
It’s important to understand that these behaviors originate from a combination of individual, social, psychological/emotional, and physical factors, but primarily psychological ones. That’s why it’s essential, if possible, to seek psychological therapy to address these addictions.
And above all, don’t feel ashamed or think that there’s something wrong with you. Simply take what has happened as something you need to pay attention to, work through, and understand its causes so that you can heal.
It's okay to feel confused or even crave the same kinda stuff you want to leave but are addicted to. It's not always easy to leave these addictions but I'm willing to help you, to be there for you, to understand you and let you know that you aren't alone. With trust, consistency, dedication and determination we'll be to pull this off
@DarkMessiah
Thanks for this, Its incredibly hard as I feel the need to relapse every second. Its getting to my head a little, yknow?
I understand and there would definitely be times where you'd relapse or want to like now but if we walk on the journey of helping you leave it we can achieve it. If you want to talk and discuss about it, just a message away!
@DarkMessiah
Yeah, ill take up your offer of talking about it!! Theres a lot of other things im just finding out about myself as well thats taking my mind off of the addiction for now, though, i dont know how long that'll last.
Sure, whatever comforts you!
@DarkMessiah
I can't message you, no idea why!!!
Probably coz you're a teen and they have limited access I'm guessing here. You'd have to have adult mentioned in your profile to talk to adults

This is good to acknowledge. It needs like you have a strong need for connection. If you don't fill it with this tactic, what are your other ways of fulfilling this need?
@tolaklaw
I have like no other things to fulfil the needs. I'm just raw dogging it all.
@w0rthyxx
You can potentially connect with people on here. Not romantically, bu as friends. It may be a way to fulfill that need partially
