Just finding out how hard dealing with an addiction is

I've never had to deal with an addiction before and the porn addiction I'm dealing with now may cause me to lose my freedom because im on probation and one of the rules is no porn. I've used porn since i was 11 or 12 and having to suddenly control that urge is proving very difficult. Need help and advice!
