Hi I’m 19 years old and I’ve been struggling with a poem/masturbation addiction it’s been on and off in my life lately I cannot seem to stop it no matter how hard I try I have a girlfriend of 3 years earlier in our relationship she found out about the porn and. I think it hurt her and. I feel I cannot talk to her about it and I feel it is affecting us I don’t even have sex anymore barly I never feel like it and if we do I struggle to even stay hard and as soon as I’m done hanging out with her I instantly go back to the porn and masturbation and when I’m with her it’s starting to be the only thing I think about anyone else in a similar situation?
@practicalLand252 hello Land, I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with porn and masturbation adiction; like any addiction they can impact our lives in very detrimental ways and it sounds as though it's now at the stage of causing difficulties in your relationship, which you're understandably anxious about. What I can suggest, as I responded to this just yesterday to two posters similarly affected, is the "Easy Peasy Way to Quit Porn", which is available as a free, open-source pdf. It's actually based on Allen Carr's 'Easy Way to Quit Smoking' principles - itself a very famous and effective system. I'm hoping this helps Land, thank you for reaching out here on the forums.
